My Patterns
Here you will find my self-developed patterns, which you are welcome to use for your art.
When I first wanted to apply as a CZT for 7f5r's international event "CZT: AE 2022", I had to design a course concept and of course a tile. I already had the concept in my head, now it was time to implement it. The first lines flowed onto the paper and suddenly the pattern was there.

Just as the lines suddenly flowed onto the paper, I spontaneously had the name of this pattern in my head. I've since received some feedback that this pattern looks "Greek", which I find very interesting. I myself have “Aztecs” in my head. What are you saying? In any case, it flows, it's a lot of fun to tangle and offers lots of possibilities to embellish and play with it. Have a lot of fun with SURU.

At an antique dealer at the St. Nicholas Market in 2002 at my hometown Zons, I discovered a speaker/radio converted into a lamp. I immediately fell in love, bought it and set it up in the living room. I enjoy it every day and at some point I thought about deconstructing the beauty of the pattern as a Zentangle pattern so that more people in this world can enjoy it. Everything starts with the "C", then mirror, adding an aura each, followed by 2 "Mookas" that come from the middle and so on. In addition to the step by step instructions, you can also watch a short video. On my YouTube channel you can find the video in English including shading and highlighting. I hope you enjoy trying out this pattern with so many endless possibilities.

My Speaker Lamp
On Friday evening, September 22nd, 2023, I went to bed very late. Shortly before falling asleep, this pattern suddenly appeared in my mind and I immediately created the step out for it on Friday, September 23rd, 2023. Star Rite is an organic tangle that is not only easy to tangle, but also offers an incredible number of possibilities. 6 variations flowed onto paper all by themselves, and you can see a few of my ideas on the step out. I also implemented the pattern in different ways on a total of 5 tiles. I want to share this pattern with you and I'm excited for you to try it out.

May I introduce myself? I'm "𝕊ℙ𝕆ℂ𝕂" - one of Nina's new patterns, I'm being released today and already got featured for the weekly prompt in the #7F5Rchallenge Facebook group.
I'm fun, easy to draw, and incredibly versatile and adaptable. When Nina deconstructed me, she thought of the succulent plants "lithops/living stones" that Nina often owned as a child. Sunday at the Easter market, she even discovered some that had moved into her house. And her husband even discovered that I'm also the handle of her paper scissors. And now you're wondering what opportunities you have with me? I'd be happy to tell you more: You can use me as a filler tangle, as a string, as a border tangle or even grow crazy with me. I hope you're enjoying putting pen to paper when you get to know me.
PS.: If you think your friend needs to get to know me, feel free to share.
"𝓜𝓾𝓼𝓲𝓷𝓰𝓼" is inspired by a beautiful floor tile and slightly modified. It’s a playful pattern that, for me, feels like a monotangle, but it opens up an incredible array of design possibilities, as you can see in the stepout. And that’s just a small glimpse of the inspiration behind it.
𝓜𝓾𝓼𝓲𝓷𝓰𝓼 also works wonderfully as a fragment, and depending on how large you draw it, it can even be used as a string.
Today I introduce my new pattern WOB. Spind on to listen to the instructions.
And here is some more WOB background: Years ago, I fell in love with Vietnamese bowls, especially in summer. I found a beautiful, irregular-patterned bowl at Nanu-Nana, a German gift shop. I liked its dramatic design with dots, which I can vary with lines or strokes. The bowl's pattern is inspired by Wolfsburg, my hometown.
